My Ubuntu 21.04 Experience

I first tried Ubuntu when they are sending free live CDs all over the world to try for everyone. So, I have got a Ubuntu 8.04 CD for myself. I have used It without installing it on my PC and the experience was not so great at that time since I didn't have much knowledge regarding Linux. After that first experience, I have tried many Ubuntu versions released by Canonical from time to time, but I have never stuck to any of them permanently till last year.

Last year I installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS version on my laptop since I was eager to go ahead with it as one of my main operating systems since It was a polished operating system then It was a few years back. Also, I can manage most of my daily tasks using Ubuntu and I can run most of my favourite applications in Linux now such as Spotify, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Microsoft Teams, Chrome, Zoom, Discord, Etc. I started my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology last year and it was a reason to use Linux on one of my computers. So, I've chosen my laptop for that since It is my less powerful machine though I have a Windows 10 License. So far the experience is good and recently I have updated my system to the latest Ubuntu 21.04.

Ubuntu is getting better day by day as far as I know due to the community behind it and I have loved this project since the first day(Though It was not a pleasant experience on that day) I have seen it. I think we can provide more and more information to people using this kind of Free and Open Source software. In Linux, you have alternative programs for every software you use on Windows or Mac if there isn't a Linux version of that application. My only request to people is that don't use pirated software If they can't afford that software. Instead, use free and Open Source alternatives since It's not ethical to use pirated software.
